Research Of Reliable Data Transmission Technology Based On Network Coding In WSN

Computer technology, microelectronics technology and communication technology promotethe rapid development of wireless sensor network. The research of wireless sensor network hasstarted. However, on the one hand the wireless links are unreliable, and the sensor network isoften used in harsh environment, on the other hand, people are pursuing diversity of networkservice and higher quality of wireless communication transmission. So in the research of wirelesssensor network technology, it is very important to improve the reliability of data transmission.While the proposition of network coding points out a new direction to improve the reliability ofdata transmission.Based on the comprehensive understanding of the relevant knowledge of network coding,deep research in reliable data transmission technology is going on. A basic model of unicast and Asingle source and single hop transmission model of broadcast are proposed, and according to thecharacteristics of the models, the effect of network coding on the reliability of the datatransmission is confirmed. For broadcast network model, a detailed coding algorithm of networkcoding is proposed to improve the reliability of data transmission. Then the unicast model and thebroadcast model are applied in wireless sensor network including the topology of star networkand cluster tree network. Combined with the broadcasting retransmission scheme, frame structureof the MAC layer and retransmission mechanism in IEEE802.15.4is correspondingly modified.At last, according to the different decoding strategy, two dynamic retransmission mechanismscalled circulation mechanism and recursive mechanism for WSN are proposed. Simulation resultsshow that they have obvious advantages in improving the data transmission reliability.
