The Internet of Things, the third wave of the information industry revolution following thecomputer and the Internet, is one of the hottest research interests in the area of communications andinformation. The Internet of Things features in wide range of business applications, diversifiedforms with extremely complexity, high security requirements, and the enormous amount of datainvolved. Therefore, it is essentially important to make sure that the application data is reliable,integrated and secure while the transmission efficiency is promised.This thesis begins with introducing Ubiquitous Service Platform for Internet of Things(USPIOT) in answer of the problem that "there is no unified standard of constructing the system ofIOT ". This platform enables the IOT applications free from a state of being isolated and providesdifferent users with convenient, fast Internet business service. Meanwhile, this open platform offersadditional interface for third-party to facilitate platform load and extension service.Next, the thesis focuses on the research of Intelligent Service Security Application Protocol(ISSAP) on the basis of this platform.This protocol has the following characteristics: firstly, itmanages to use a custom packet encapsulation mechanism based on the Abstract Syntax NotationOne (ASN.1), thus the resource cost of data is reduced; next, this protocol introduces an highlyeffective secure communications mechanism, which is a kind of secure Internet communicationsystem model based on the ASN.1cross-platform with the combination of the security algorithm forencryption and decryption, signature and certification. Therefore, this protocol not only provides astandard packet structure under a different communication environment, but also it adopts aclassification-based encryption and decryption method, allowing all kinds of users to use differentencryption policies. Thus the privacy and security of user’s service requests data are guaranteedwhile unnecessary resource cost and time delays are reduced to make the safe and quick encryptionand decryption. ISSAP is served as the foundation for the development of IOT intelligentapplications, and also has great reference value for the IOT standards making.
