Traditional systems in information are incomplete and data update slow, so itcan’t meet the management needs. These issues have become problems to the department ofeducation and the university faculties. In consideration of the actual demand for the teachermanagement system in Jiangsu Province, this object sets up a teacher management system witchbased on Web technology. This paper mainly focuses on the design and development of the teacherinformation management system.The users of this system are divided into three kinds, different users perform different functions:One is teachers, they can add, modify, delete and preview the personal information, and can viewthe announcement, modify personal password; The second is the school users, they can add, modify,and preview the basic information of the school, and can inquire the basic information of theteachers in the school, view the announcement, modify personal password; The third is the users ofeducation department, they can inquire the basic information of all teachers and schools in JiangsuProvince, can manage the basic information of all users and maintain the announcement.Based on the demand for the software engineering, the system relates to the Visual Studio2010tool, ASP.NET technology, B/S three-tier auchitecture, language of C#and JavaScript, Oracledatabase, and uses ADO.NET technology to connect to the database.The technology of ADO.NETmakes the process of access easier and more efficient, so the teacher management system can bemore stable and more efficient. This system is based on Web technology, which aims to build amanagement mode based on internet, so the users can manage and view the information at any time,any place. This new management model will improve the working efficiency and administration. |
