At present,in the industrial field gas monitoring is usually realized by using PLC.The PLC hasthe characteristics of developing simply and running speed fastly,but its price is quite expensive andwhen communication with the PC must need the PLC developers provide system protocols andnetwork adapter.This undoubtedly increased the investment cost,also make it have a certainlimitation in the application.With the development of embedded technology,the embeddedprocessor performance improve continuously,now the application of embedded products growingrapidly in this field.This paper mainly designs a embedded real-time monitoring system based on SamsungS3C2440,it can be widely used in the industry of hydrogen or oxygen or other gas productionmonitor.The monitor system is mainly composed of monitoring terminal,communication networkand monitoring center,it can real-time monitoring production site technical parameter anddisplay,such as gas pressure,working temperature,gas purity,gas storage pressure,DC voltage andgas leakage concentration and so on.if these parameter are over range,the system will send alarmmessages,which establish a real-time monitor and multi-point alarm security mode.The monitorsystem also can send the data to the upper computer through network,which change the singlemanual inspection work mode and improve the safety of industrial gas manufacture.In this paper,monitoring system hardware platform and all modules are introduced at first.Thendiscussing how to construct the software development platform based on S3C2440,including theu-boot transplantation,linux kernel cutting and Qt file system production.Finally designing theapplication software of the monitoring system,including the real-time data displayinterface,real-time data acquisition,system alarm and send data through network.Finally,the design of the product have been successfully applied to the engineering practice ofhydrogen production equipment monitoring.
