The paper was aimed at portable, low-cost RFID blind navigation system. Without network, laptop computer and mobile phone, the blind navigation cane can read RFID tags and give the blind some navigation advice.RFID tags being stored traffic information, were placed in the blind road. MCU made the RFID reader to read the information of RFID tags information. Speech synthesis module gave the blind navigation voice. In order to achieve the requirements of the blind navigation based on RFID, the ISO15693standard high frequency13.56MHz RFID technology was choosed. RFID reader module.was designed based on TRF7961. Speech synthesis and playback module was designed based on SYN6288. In order to reduce the pressure of the storage of RFID tags and the cost of tags, AT45DB061A was used to store some commonly used statements and more traffic information.RFID tag placement experiment was designed in this paper. And the results of the experiment was analyzed. At last, the reasonable distance of RFID tags placement was given in this paper.
