Ka band low profile antenna with application and prospect in field of aircraft missile, aircraft and other high-speed movement. The goal of this paper is the design of Ka band low profile surface inclined beam angle antenna, the inclination is fixed angle30~60°range.Based on the study of the principle of beam direction angle control of microstrip antennas and waveguide slot antenna, the main contents are as follows:1、Selection of microstrip patch array and Yagi microstrip antenna as research object fixed beam pointing angle, discussion on the patch number, patch spacing, patch feed phase and the parasitic element of the antenna sidelobe dips, and gain influence, the beam angle of the microstrip line with four patch parasitic element, unequal spacing array antenna is34°, performance can meet the design requirements; The beam angle of Yagi patch antenna is39°, but the sidelobe level is high.2、The design principle and method of realization of the fixed beam angle of edge slot waveguide and broadside slot array antenna, studying the influence of slot length, width, angle and cutting depth and the slot spacing on the antenna performance. Using cross-polarization suppression measures, improve the performance of edge slot waveguide array antennas. Simulation results show that:the traveling-wave waveguide inclined slot in the narrow wall and longitudinal shunt slot array antenna can achieve a range of30-60DEG to any fixed beam angle. The simulation results of36units of30°,45°,60°dge slot waveguide array antenna and simulation results of16units of30°,40°,45°aveguide slot array antenna is given in this paper, its performance can satisfy most of the requirements of actual use.3、To improve design efficiency of waveguide slot antenna, this paper established a mathematical model given beam angle as a function of conductance change with slot angle. After verification, numerical value is good agreement with the actual simulation.
