Rocket is a kind of powerful, strong firepower, good mobility and high performance weapon system.Improving the accuracy and flexibility of rocket is the research focus of the world. The rocket launch platform is an important part of the rocket. Its attitude not only affects the hit precision of the shell but also its leveling speed directly is related to the exposure time of our artillery in the enemy’s reconnaissance system. Therefore, the attitude leveling of the rocket launch is very necessary.This paper presents the design of the rocket leveling system, and designed a set of leveling controller including angle measurement function, on the background of a defense pre-research project "a type of airborne rockets developed" and on the basis of careful analysis of the related literature and design features of the model rocket. The controller accomplish attitude leveling of launch pad by measuring the angle from the launch pad, and it is the core component of the leveling system and play an important role to improve overall system performance. Compared with the past leveling system, the leveling controller has the inclination angle measurement functions.The inclination angle measurement is an independent module placed in the system. About leveling algorithm, this aiticle design a leveling algorithm,which meet the accuracy requirements and own a shorter leveling time.This article complete hardware and software design of the controller, and implement the debugging of the controller functions. The controller take ARM7microcontroller LPC2388as the core and connect the micro-accelerometer ADIS16209, temperature sensor DS18B20, and expand the CAN bus, Ethernet network interface and RS-232, RS-485serial communication interface. The controller software is divided into the inclination angle measurement,temperature acquisition, data transmission and leveling control module, programmed in accordance with the structured hierarchical thinking.At presentthe inclination and temperature acquisition of the controller are realized fully and the accuracy meet the design requirements. The function of communication interface debug successfully and can transport the data at different rates. This controller can communicate with other controllers correctly. The leveling controller designed promote the development of China’s rockets leveling technology and is important for fighting the top of the world.
