The Research Of Micro-Blog Information Dissemination Model Based On Complex Networks

Micro-blog is another popular and important platform for exchanging information of network in recent years. In micro-blog the spread of information is based on the "follow" network between users. This new way of dissemination of information is totally different from the way which the traditional media uses. And this make the information propagate in the micro-blog at an amazing speed. The dissertation is based on the theory of complex network, which research the network characteristics of micro-blog and model of information dissemination in the micro-blog. The specific research content and achievement are as followsFirstly, the dissertation explores how to acquire the real "follow-followed" data which includes in-degree, out-degree, clustering coefficient and average path length and drawing the graphics of cumulative degree distribution function, we find the network of micro-blog has the characteristic of high clustering coefficient, small word properties and its indegree distribution basically obeys power-law distribution. Thus the dissertation acquires the characteristic of Micro-blog network and proves that the network has typical features of complex network. So this lay on the foundation for build of the information dissemination model and simulation of the model.Secondly, the dissertation describes the real dissemination process of information in micro-blog and considers the spreading of information mainly relies on the continuous forwarding. Then the dissertation designs three node states in model which is ingorants or spreaders or silencer according to the characteristics of micro-blog’s information transmission and formulates the rules of transition of these three nodes. Thus the dissertation completes to build the micro-blog information dissemination model based on complex network. Finally the dissertation makes the model simulation research. Through simulation the dissertation compares the change of transmission of information in the network under different conditions. Then the dissertation summarizes the basic law of transmission of information in micro-blog according to the simulation results and the results can also explain some phenomena in the micro-blog, thus verifying the effective of the model.The dissertation studies the network structure characteristics of micro-blog and information propagation law in it so that we can know the characteristics of this new network platform better. And at the same time it helps to find the potential research and applications value of micro-blog.
