Person’s appearance is the outward manifestation of a person. The pursuit of generousand beautiful is one kind of natural demand of human. There are so many industries such asmakeup and cosmetic to make this willing into reality. So many people show great interestingin the research of "beautiful". But in the process of pursuing beauty, it was found that theconcept of "beautiful" is actually very abstract and difficult to quantify. Nowadays, withcomputer technology and digital image processing technology rapid development, it ispossible for computer to learn the concept of "beautiful" by using machine learningtechnology..This article implements a data-driven and texture-based human face beautificationtechnology. Based on the mobile Internet technology, it also develop a face beautification Appon Android mobile platform. What’s more, a open platform of face beautification has beenbuild. The main content of this article is as follows:First, simply introduce the reserach situation of face beautification and the developmentof mobile Internet. It’ll explain the characteristics of each of the two technologies andapplications, as well as how the combine them.Then, using C++and Python, a data-driven and texture-based face beautificationalgorithm is implemented and the performance of the algorithm is shown. This algorithminclude KNN selection algorithm, image piecewise linear transformation algorithm, theaverage face algorithm, preserving smoothing algorithm based on the edge of the WLS and itsimproved algorithm.Finally, it’ll combine face beautification technology and mobile Internet and a CS(Client-Server) architecture online face beautification applications on the Android operatingsystem is developed. The important modules of the system as well as works to elaborate willbe shown.As mentioned before, the concept of "beauty" is very abstract, and also has considerablevalue. The face beautification technology implemented in this article can be used in CGanimation, game character design, professional cosmetic, and also processing of digital photos.This technology has a very broad application prospects.
