The ground Tactical Network consists of both the the backbone network and themulti-hop self-organized network. The former includes many point to point links withwider bandwidth and more reliable transmission quality, such as the cable link, thedirectional microwave link, the directional scattering link. The latter is constituted bythe broadcasting radio links.In the traditional tactical backbone network, it is usual to adopt the existingstandard internet routing protocol, such as the Open Shortest Path First protocol(OSPF),Routing Information Protocol (RIP), Border Gateway Protocol(BGP), Extended InteriorGateway Routing Protocol(EIGRP) etc. Backbone network links are point-to-point’stransmission link, the interconnecting link interface need to be configured a IP subnetaddress. when the tactical network reconfiguration, it also need to be assigned a new IPaddress. This configuration design makes IP management for the tactical networkbecome very complex, and make fast recombination of tactical networks inconvenient.The wireless self-organized network and the backbone network use different ad hocrouting protocols, it is hard to apply the same path metric. A gateway node need to rundifferent types of routing protocols at the different interface, the route’s redistribution isneeded to reach the consistency in the backbone network and radio network,it makes thetactical networking and routing problem becomes very complex. Moreover, with theexpansion of network scale, network routing number becomes larger, performancerequirements of nodes becomes higher, the maintenance operation is more difficult.In this paper, aiming at the above question, considering the hierarchical tacticalcommunication network characteristics, Hazy Sighted Optimized Link State Routing Protocol(HSOLSR)is designed with node mobility, it can make the tactical network quicklyself-organized reconstruction according to the temporary needs, accommodate avariety of complex battlefield environment, provide insurance with reliable network toofficers.The main research contents include:1. The structure and the link characteristics for the tactical communication network isdiscussed, the technical measures for the self-organized tactical routing protocol in backbone networks is analyzed, it lays a foundation to the routing consistency.2. According to the node number, physical configuration, logical relation, locationdistribution condition, the appropriate routing protocol for the tactical network isanalyzed.3. The routing protocol implementations is described, including the parameters andconstants, information base, packet processing and message transfering, format ofthe packet ane message etc.
