As the rapid development of our national economy, meteorological cause hasbeen considered as a basic social commonweal career with science and technology,which attracts more and more attention. In recent years, the investment in the nationalmeteorological construction has increased greatly. At the same time, themodernization construction has deeply stepped into all aspects of meteorologicalservices. Meteorological observation technique and capability have improved greatly.CINRAD is an effective instrument of surveiling the meso-scale and micro-scaledisastrous weather system. Its data quality has directly influence on the precision ofradar application. The radar echo classifying method based on fuzzy-logic, the QualityControl algorithm based on reflectivity structure and the radar base-data Quality Controlalgorithm based on neural network are introduced. Echoes in CINRAD reflectivity datado not always correspond to precipitating particles. Echoes on radar may be due tobiological targets such as insects, birds or wind-borne particles, due to anomalouspropagation(AP) or ground clutter(GC).The most effective method in scaling of new generation weather radar is to get thelinear dynamic characteristic of radar receiver with inner and outer signal generatorrespectively. The signal generated by signal generator was inputted to receiver andoutputted after processing by receiver processor, and adjust the amplitude of inputsignal to measure the input-output characteristic.The clear air standard ground echo intensity of weather radar scaled with unitiveparameter was acquired as template, compared with real-time echo intensity, and automeasure the difference between theoretical velocity and measured value to measure andadjust the quality of intensity data and velocity data of the echo. After comparingreference ground echo intensity with measured echo intensity, comparing theoreticalvelocity with measured velocity, and measuring of intensity and velocity of weatherradar echo, an effective method of detected data quality control of weather radar waspresented.The research result of this article will improve both the examination of weatherradar equipment and analysis of weather prediction. In the mean time, it will be helpful for technician to identify the radar operating condition after overhaul, and improve thelevel of short-range forecast and nowcasting.
