The training of soldiers and real equipments are constrained by the factors of equipments, field, outlays, electromagnetic leak and so on, which does not meet the requirements of all training missions. By the means of the computer simulation of the war environment, which cooperates with the training of soldiers and real equipments relied on the base, it is an effective method to achieve the training of Electronic Countermeasure Units(abbr. ECU) based on the computer simulation,The biggest problem which lies in the building of the simulation training system of ECU is that how to layout and design the system. The research of system architecture is referred to the research of the compositive elements and the mutual relationship, and so it is of great help to research the system architecture which lays the technique foundation for the successful achievements of the system. The missions and the combating objects of ECU of combating units are quite different, which arouses the great challenges of the research and the development of system architecture. It is hard to research the system architecture thoroughly. The paper takes the typical systematic application, for example the simulation training of air-borne radar countermeasure, as the research object and then carries the application research of system architectureFirst of all, the paper researches the architectural methods used in the current software systems, and analyses the common laws and the characteristics of the methods used to model the system architecture. Through the research on the typical architectural framework of C4ISR and the object-oriented methods Of UML, the features of the two methods used in the development of the system architecture are analysed. According to the architectural framework of C4ISR and the architecture of the simulation training system used by the air-borne radar countermeasure, an formal method used in the development of simulation training system architecture is proposed.Software system architecture is the early product of software life cycle. By means of transforming the static models of the architecture into the executable models and evaluating the design of it, It is easy for the developers to find the bugs of the design which lie in the early software development. The paper researches the evaluating technology of system architecture based on the Colored Petri Net, which includes the transforming methods used to turn the UML models into the Colored Petri network and the application methods used to evaluate the architecture based on the Petri nets. Some views designed in the paper are analysed and assessed, and the architecture proposed in the paper is also validated.
