In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology andcommunications business has grown rapidly, user data flow the well blowout, whichone of the country’s three major telecom operators have brought tremendouschallenges.China Telecom3G3G wireless networks use wireless broadband servicesduring its unlimited and long on time monthly package model has attracted a largenumber of users.However, with the development of the network, user growth, andadverse effects of the concomitant.According to the Chengdu Telecom CDMA2000operation analysis of the two-year, Chengdu Telecom3G user perception of apparentdecline in speed reduction, rising complaints.As far as Chengdu,30%3G80%the user’snetwork traffic.Face the challenge, Telecom WLAN network as a means of data distribution,combined with the DO network planning and construction.In the construction planningand design of WLAN networks will become more important.Using WLAN technologyto improve3G operational capacity of the high-speed data networks, as strongcomplement3G network, shared hotspot network data traffic, may be an effectivesolution.WLAN network technology research and engineering design is bound to be isof great practical significance.The main research content of this thesis is WLAN technology in Chengdu wirelesstelecommunication network application, from the WLAN network background, to theanalysis of WLAN network structure proceed with, first to the WLAN standard, themain technology, networking and other aspects of analysis, introduces the basicprinciple of WLAN network; secondly to Sichuan Telecom DO network and thedemand of the investigation and research, including DO network businesscharacteristics, the WLAN network service requirements, in-depth analysis and study ofWLAN network and coverage options, at the same time, the needle on the SichuanNormal University campus network construction scheme, on the WLAN networkfrequency planning are discussed in detail, using hybrid channel planning (2.4GHz and5.8GHz) to effectively guarantee the quality of user access and is included in the rate of 2.4GHz, design for dormitory area mainly solves the coverage requirements,5.8GHzfor teaching office area ’s main purpose is to provide enough capacity.
