Design And Implementation For Teacher Information Management System

With the developing of information network and the improvement of college officeautomation, the traditional way of file management method by man and paper-basedsaving mode are not satisfactory in dealing with huge information of teachers. Besides,the college scale is gradually enlarging which leads to the shortage of teachingresources. Therefore, in order to adapt to the development and the characteristics ofcollege, we have exploited the system of teacher information management of YunnanCollege of Business and Management. It can solve all kinds of management problems,reducing the burden of educational administrators, and achieve the informationizationand modernize of the teacher information management.As a typical system of information management, this system including two aspects:the exploitation of the foreground application and the establishment of the Backgrounddatabase. The foreground application requires complete functions of applicationprogram, which can satisfy the actual needs of our college management. That isachieving some functions, such as the addition, modification, or cancellation ofteacher’s information, announcement, upload or download files, setting of userpermissions， possessing User Friendly Interface and easy to use. After completing thesystem, we’ll submit the final system (including the Background database)which istestified and debugged successfully, and the related files.This essay is developed in ASP.NET, taking the Visual Studio2005and SQLServer2005as the developing tool and System database. This system can have goodmaintainability and reusability by using IIS server and the Three-tier architecture ofBrowser/Server. Besides, during the developing procedure, the developing method ofthe structuring and facing objects make it easy to design and achieve the system.This article completely obeyed the mind of the designer, and explained the processof developing and achieving the system of teacher information management of YunnanCollege of Business and Management, including requirement analysis, system design,developing environment configuration, system achieving, etc.
