Project Cost Management Information System Development And Implementation Of CR20G

In recent decade, construction in China is developing fast. Along with theincreasing of production value, management efficiency is not yet increasing, especiallyfor the efficiency of cost-control management. informationization is the way toimprove the efficiency of cost-control management. Unfortunately, it has been not fullyapplied in current stage.China Railway20th Bureau Group is a national-famous state-owned enterprisewith a construction license, which has basic ability of building information systems.But the information-based project management system is still untouched. In this study,the theory of cost-control management and the application of information-basedproject management system in worldwide are investigated. We analyze thecharacteristics of the cost management system of China Railway20th Bureau Group,propose overall design ideas of project cost management information system(CR20G-PCMIS), and design the overall framework.The web application technique of ASP.net is used to design the managementsystem by CR20G. In this study, application of each module for CR20G-PCMIS isintroduced, including the technique program. China Railway20th Bureau Group hasused a lot of different software. In this case, project cost-control management systemand the compatibility with the old system are more important. In this study, ChinaRailway20th Bureau Group designs its own EAI, based on basic concept and theory ofEAI, and also test-drives to solve the difficulty of data sharing.The application of CR20G-PCMIS is succeed in China Railway20th BureauGroup. The difficult of the project is investigated. And some protection programs arealso determined with great help.The last parts include summary and future works.
