Entertainment is one of the main function of the TV medium, and TV entertainmentprogram is the main force of entertainment the public. In recent years TV industrydevelopment is very rapidly, TV programs renewal also picked up speed. In order to cater toviewing audience increasingly taste and to enhance our entertainment in the internationalcompetitive power and influence, independent innovation of “China character” entertainmentprogram is imperative. Now, more and more program production and broadcast institutions tojoin in the independent research and development team. Strive to unique and put an end toimitate follow suit and other bad phenomenon.This paper expounds the research theory value and practical significance and the presentsituation of our country TV entertainment program. And according to the “Thankfully, youhave come”,“China’s Got Talent”,“The Yearly Show”,“China’s Dream Show”, analysis ofsuch columns as a “localization” processing, to create necessity, and in a sense, also belong tothe independent innovation the category. The paper explains the TV entertainment programsin China at the present stage of independent innovation of four kinds of methods, according tothe TV station characteristics and positioning to research and development, according to thelocal characteristics, according to different audience characteristics, according to the socialhot topics and so on, and list the successful development case, such as “I want to go to theSpring Festival party”,“The collection of world”,“family show” and so on.From now on, such ratings high and popular entertainment program is very rare. Eachbig TV institutions should be actively broaden ideas, this paper studies the viewing publictastes and viewing habits, paying attention to the local culture characteristics in China,innovation more and better local TV entertainment programs. They can not only enrich ourcountry screen and the people amateur cultural life, more can enhance China’s TV industry inthe international competitive power and influence.
