Government Office Automation Management System Design And Implementation Based On Workflow

With development of information technology, information management system hasinfiltrated profoundly into managements of all aspects. It plays an important role ofmanagement practices, and has improved management efficiency drastically. However, inthe field of office automation, Chinese government is still under the traditionalmanagement mode. Not only does the cycle last too long, but the management efficiencyis relatively low as well. Facing growing need of business, the traditional managementmode does not cater to the need of development. Therefore we adopt the workflowtechnology. As a core technology of process modeling and process management, it couldcombine with other systems effectively, in order to adapt to government and businessmanagement systems. Thus it could help achieve governmental transparency as well asbusiness process reengineering of enterprises. Our research firstly introduces the basicconcepts and the trends of developments of the workflow technology, defines theworkflow, and provides a reference model. Based on this model and integrated with theproject, the research made use of the WEB framework to realize functions of the system. Itoffers the workflow model and the detailed design of information model. It has achievedthe graphical workflow modeling tools and workflow engine for backstage drive, whichhave been mentioned in the workflow reference model. Plus it actualizes the managementand monitoring of workflow system. Moreover, not only does it realize the workflowmodeling tools and engine, but also studies the application of workflow in currentinformation management system. In the end, it combines with the actual work ingovernment office automation system, and achieves the whole flow of the process.According to the research background, and on the basis of the investigation andanalysis of the office automation management process, this article analyzes relativetheories of workflow in detail, and applies it to the office system. Furthermore, it offers anexplicit and thorough analysis and design of the Government Office AutomationManagement System, which realizes the function modules of the system.Through the research in the article, government office automation efficiency is greatlyimproved. The research also provides valuable references for the government todevelopment its own cooperative management systems according specific situations.
