The advances in mobile devices and wireless communication technology have enabled a new communication paradigm-Wireless Ad Hoc network. The Wireless Ad Hoc network can be applied to some place where the communication can be done without the support of any fixed infrastructure. The network has the great impact on military sensor network dealing with emergency and personal local area network system.This thesis analyzed the function of Wireless Ad Hoc network in forest fire prevention and the framework of Wireless Ad Hoc network communication system. Following the requirement of communication in forest fire prevention in distance and coverage, the antenna, including the selection of antenna frequency, gain, pitching angle and directional is designed. The test of the Wireless Ad Hoc network communication system is completed.At last time, following the requirement of communication in forest fire prevention the application of Wireless Ad Hoc network communication system, including the transmission of the video, voice and control signal is implemented.The realization of Wireless Ad Hoc network communication system, enrich the field real-time information collection and improve the application fields of the informatization level.
