With the coming of knowledge explosion,books have become our mental food.People are paying more and more attention to read more books,thus it is necessary to develop a perfect automatic books management system.This paper studies Jiangxi Yuzhou Institute of science and technology books manangement databasis,through the specific requirements,after analyzing the Jiangxi Yuzhou Institute of science and technology books manangement system analyze and design.This papers bases on books information management of Jiangxi Yuzhou Scientific and Technological Institute, according to the requirements of information library management, makes studying and analyzing to library management information system, adapt C/S(Client/Server)pattern to design and develop, chooses SQL Server2000as database platform, uses Visual Basic6.0programming language as programming implemented language. Based on the deep investigation on library information management, this papers elaborates many processes library management business of Jiangxi Yuzhou Scientific and Technological Institute, including Administrator management business process, books management business process, Lending books management business process, query business process, statistics business process and predetermine business process etc. According to analysis to library management business process, the essay state these in detail, as follow, user management, books managemen, Lending book management, query management, statistics management, predetermine management, system maintenance. functional requirement and system performance analysis; then design out system data model. Based on requirement analysis, this essay elaborates system design, mainly includes architecture design, overall system design (that is modules dividing), detail algorithm design of main system module and database table design about system soft-hardware and network. This papers also show us the interface and partial implementation of system main modules, includes users management module, books management modules, Lending books management module, query module, statistics modules and predetermine module etc. Finally, the essay makes summaries and prospects to research and development of system design.We have made an analysis and designing for the library management system of J Jiangxi Yuzhou Institute of science and technology on this paper.the library management system has operated successfully and met the daily work of our shool library,which bring the high efficiency and certain economic benefits for the library of management.
