The fabric deformation simulation and virtual fitting have a very wide range of applicationsin many other areas of e-commerce, garment CAD, television and game production. In recentyears, in order to solve the trouble fitting in traditional shopping malls, virtual fitting system hascaused the attention of many scholars at home and abroad, they have carried out a series ofexploratory studies. This article analyzes the virtual reality technology and virtual fittingtechnology research status and related technologies at home and abroad, a virtual fitting systembased on converse3D.has researched and realizedThe paper is divided into three parts, the first has elaborated a simulation technology offabric deformation based on spring mass model, using physical modeling and numericalintegration methods to achieve a simulation of the fabric and get a real-time fabric simulationsystem. Spring-mass model is created, due to the linear relationship is used under ideal springmodel, leading to the obtained results is not the same as the effect of deformation of the realfabric, the "super-elastic" phenomenon has appeared, in order to avoid such an unrealisticcircumstance, the position correction method is employed to compensate, it is that spring forcedirection obtained by the ideal linear relationship is constant, and spring force size is constrainedaccording to the threshold level, the calculation of this correction method is simple, andthroughout the whole algorithm, the calculation speed is greatly increased.In the second part of this article, traditional collision detection algorithm and collisiondetection algorithm used in this paper are contrasted to verify that the algorithm is feasible andeffective, can effectively detect the collision between the object and the fabric. Gettinginspiration from temporal spatial correlation in virtual spatial environment, traversal trackingstrategy is proposed, it greatly reduces the number of bounding boxes involved in the testing.Experiments show that the algorithm can effectively handle polyhedron with any shape. Whenthe object is rotated, the bounding box after rotating can be built in time by an approximatemethod.In the third part of this article, a virtual fitting system has been interoperated in the virtualreality engine, interactive operation has been carried out, the effect of360degrees can beshowed, and the three dimensional effect is obvious, it is better to achieve a virtual fittingpurposes. Finally, basing on the research of simulation of cloth deformation and virtual clothingtechnology, a series of prospects about the questions remained to be answered in this field arepointed out.
