Jamming is an important way to disturb the detecting function of enemy’s radar system in EW. There’re several jamming types according to different standards, different jamming type has different jamming effect against different radar system. Under complicated electromagnetic environment, simulating jamming environment and evaluating jamming effect have become a complex and important research field.This paper has described the overall function and design processes of Surveillance radar simulation system, and introduced the two major subsystems that make up the system respectively, Scene simulation and Radar simulation. Based on the requirement of simulation objects these are Surveillance radar、Jamming plane and flight scene, this paper has also introduced the various modules which make up the evaluation system simulation module and design concepts and processes of each module.This paper has described the basic principle of oppressive jamming and multiple-false targets jamming in allusion to the Stand-off jamming. This paper has set up seven Mathematical models such as RF noise jamming, noise AM jamming, noise FM jamming, noise PM jamming, Sawtooth FM jamming, distance deception jamming, speed deception jamming and distance synchronous speed deception jamming signal, and analyzed jamming technique, This paper has also simulated time-range graph and frequency spectrum of eight jamming signals by MATLAB.This paper has presented an evaluation criterion of interference effects. jamming radar detection range is also calculated and described in this paper. At last, combining the radar simulation system, by the method of simulation and based on track generating under jamming, the paper has bring forward a rule of jamming evaluation based on track, and draws the cover area under the rule, output jamming result.
