Computerized flat knitting machine is a weft knitting equipment intergating computer,machinery,electronics and other technology and it plays a very important role in improving the automation level and production efficiency of the knitting industry.With the sweater export volume increasing year by year,the market demand for high-performance computerized flat knitting machine becoming more and more.There is still a comparative gap between domestic knitting machine and international advanced technology,it is necessary to improve the domestic computerized flat knitting machine control performance and automation level,then the domestic equipment to replace imported products will come to fruition.This paper analyzed the development history of computerized knitting machine and the development status at home and abroad,summed up the advantages and the lack of computerized knitting machine control system at home and abroad,studied of the structure and knitting principle of computerized knitting machine deeply,based on the existing hard ware platform,designed a new embedded computer flat knitting machine controller software system with user-friendly man-machine interface,and it achieved knitting.The whole system adopts the hierarchical control mode,and the control system is composed of the main control system and the sub control system.The development of the main control system were always carried out in the Linux environment,the main control system was chosen ARMS3C2416 chip as the main CPU,cooperated with two FPGAEP1K50 chips from sub control system to complete the control of flat knitting machine,and designed a humanity interface system by Qt/E.The main control system is responsible for human-computer interaction,flower file parsing to achieve real-time scheduling and task allocation.Sub control system based on control shaking mechanism,yarn feeding mechanism,baseplate mechanism,draw off mechanism,sensor and electromagnet to achieve the bottom equipment timing control.The main control system sends data to the sub control system through the CAN bus,analysed the real-time information and processing and displayed it on the man-machine interface.Compared with the flat knitting machine system on the market,the design of control scheme and control system software based on this model can meet the requirements ofcomputerized knitting machine,with low production cost,strong stability,good portability,its user-friendly graphical interface is easy to operate,and has a certain practical value.
