People’s living condition and social environment has undergone earth-shaking changes with the fast development of computer technology, the information technology brings us into a new information society. But, it becomes harder for the users to get the information they really want to get because of the characteristics of Web such as complicacy, lack of structure and dynamic. The problem of "Rich Data, Poor Knowledge" has become more and more serious.The individualized information push service was born at the right moment to solve these problems. Not like the traditional pattern of Looking for information", it provides a new service mode to solve the information overload problem. There are lots of technologies involved in the the individualized information push service like user model technology, protection technology of the users’privacy, website adaptive technology, personalized recommendation technology and so on. In these technologies, the user model technology is the base and centre of the individualized information push service.Combined with the hot web tool-Microblog, this article introduced the feedback technology, Rocchio feedback technology and some related concepts in first. Then, it introduced some related content about model learning and updating technology. The interests of the microblog users will change with the environment and time. We improved the user interest model representation method based on the original vector space model., added the recent update time of the long-term and short-term interest model and the users’interest project into the user interest model, improved the computing method of key words’weight, and then described the different ways of long-term and short-term interest models’updating method. We came up with a computing method to update the long-term interest by combining Rocchio method and Gradual forgetting method. Update the short-term interest model by time sliding window method. Moreover, the short-term interest will come to be long-term interest if it satisfies certain conditions. The user interest model described by this article is able to track the changes of the users’interests more efficient and accurate.We put the theory research results into a concrete information push service system. The overall concept design has been given, this design divided the system into three main levels and than described some core functionality modules in details. And by analyzing two experiments on the system:experiment on the performance of different interest model updating methods; experiment on the results of using the system by two different types of users. At last, check the accuracy and feasibility of the theories and methods presented by this article by using the evaluation index in the information retrieval fields.
