Research On Query Expansion Algorithm Based On User Interest

The development and popularization of internet lead to the large increment of information.Huge amount of information fulfills people's life and brings them big puzzlement.So,the search engine is coming ,but the exiting engine is for all users, which can't satisfy the user's individual demands, Personalized information service system can satisfy the users' individual demands effectively.In this paper, we use query expansion and user interest model to satify the personalized demand.Firstly, this paper introduces the background of the research,the development of information retrieval and the query expantion,describes the content of the research.After that ,we describe the theory of the information retrieval and the query expantion ,which is the basic theory of the resarch.Secondly, this paper describes the technology of user interest model, such as formal specification, building methods, display technology and analyzes the defects of the user interest model nowadays. After that, we improve the method of building the user interest model basing on SVM.Thirdly,we make research on the method of query expantion basing on the user feedback and analyse the defects of the method of query expantion basing on the user feedback.After that we conbine the user interest and the query expantion to satify the personalized demand.Lastly , we design a systerm which based on the method of user interest and query expantion. We describe the fuction of the system.
