Research of Multi-Agent System (MAS) is one of very important studies and active contents in distributed artificial intelligence field at present. It is one of qualitative leaps of the artificial intelligence. The system can coordinate a group of Agent’s behavior in order to complete a complex task or problem.In the blackboard, the knowledge sources communicate with each other by the blackboard and at the same time reading and writing the blackboard is controlled by the monitoring and scheduling mechanism. The blackboard architecture is similar to MAS and can be combined with it. In the MAS based on the blackboard architecture, Agents accomplish their communication and cooperation by the blackboard. The thesis recommended blackboard architecture as the model of the cooperation and communication of MAS, researched the method of applicating the balckboard architecture to realize MAS, gave the implement frame of MAS with blackboard architecture and validated the feasibility of the frame with a monitoring MAS finally. Major research efforts include:Firstly this thesis analyzed the general cooperation and communication methods of MAS and proposed feasibility analysis of the blackboard architecture as one of the cooperation and communication pattern of MAS. As a kind of coordinate model, the blackboard can realize the cooperation and interaction among Agents effectively.Then the thesis established the implement frame of the MAS based on the blackboard architecture, in order to achieve the function of MAS better we divided the blackboard of system into several subregions and then used the contract net based on the blackboard and introduced monitoring and scheduling mechanism with scheduling states as cooperation method of MAS. Communication of Agents realized on JADE platform, in view of the system communication completely based on the blackboard may cause communication traffic and bottleneck problem, the thesis proposed the communication strategy with blackboard communication acquaintances. The frame also designed the structure of Agent which is suited to the MAS based on blackboard architecture.At last, the thesis used a specific example of monitoring MAS to illustrate above frame we proposed, we focused on the cooperation and communication of the system based on the blackboard architecture and the realization of each Agent.
