As we all known, the control system in modern industry needs higher precision. The precision of data, which get from measure part of the control system, have obvious influence in the whole system. And there are many new non-contact measuring technologies which can achieve high precision, high speed in the online measurement system. The image measurement technology studied in this paper is one of the important branches.This paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional measuring technologies and modern measuring technologies, and the development history, application scope and the trend were analyzed in the first part. It analyzed the principle of the traditional image preprocessing methods, and compares the experiment result, made a solid foundation for the further research.This paper introduced various factors which influence the measurement precision, the causes and removal methods are introduced in brief. Prepared for obtaining more accurate images and data by reducing noise. Depend on the research, a new subpixel location method based on GA was raised. This paper analyzed the principle and realization method of the new method. On the basis of the analysis of this method, the experimental results of the simulation were analyzed. This paper proves the feasibility of the scheme.In this paper, the actual application of measurement system was analyzed and illustrated. The data obtained in laboratory were analyzed. The accuracy of the proposed method can achieve0.0496mm while the length of the target is300mm, which proved the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
