Low Signal to Noise Ratio signal detection is an important research area ofdetection all the time by the development of distance early warning and deep spaceexploration.Based on some specific project research, This dissertation mainly discuss thedetection of the low SNR target, and implement the signal detection with the soc basedon FPGA. The dissertation mainly include three parts, can be shown as follows:1. The research background of weak signal detection theory is introduced. Fivealgorithms to detect weak signal and simulate respectively are given, and also thesimulation and performance analysis based on Matlab software are given.2. The constant false-alarm theory and its FPGA realizing principle notionally areintroduced. The five methods with the constant false-alarm are realized separately basedon the FPGA.3. The hardware structures of multi-beam weak signal detection and guidancesystem are preferentially analyzed. In view of the actual problems,the algorithm andprocessing method are improved. And the least square method is used to realize thetracking of target. In addition, it also introduces problems and solutions which appearedin the process of hardware design and application.Through the project/hardware design and debugging, the performance and analysisdemonstrated the feasibility and practicability of the guidance system that based on theweak signal detection of FPGA. And it can be a reference for the further engineeringproduction.
