In recent years,with the rapid development of the Four Threats(Anti-radiation Missile,Stealth Target Technology,Low Altitude/Super-low Altitude Attack and Comprehensive Electronic Jamming),radar is faced with an increasingly serious crisis of survival.In order to deal with the challenges of Four Threats,many kinds of researches are going on quickly and orderly.In which,how to improve the performance of radar to detect targets in strong clutter environments becomes a very important and severe mission for radar to face with the challenge of the Super-low Altitude Attack weapons and weak targets in strong clutter environments,such as cruise missile,tanks, ships and so on.The dissertation sponsored by the key funds of General Armament Department focuses on the weak target detection technique.Its main content comprises:1.Research background and significance of the study of weak target detection in strong chatter are introduced.The corresponding techniques and research trends at home and abroad are analyzed.2.The classical radar target detection algorithm is analyzed;the characteristics of the background clutter and its suppression methods are stated;the coherent integration of target signals algorithm is introduced;the radar CFAR detection algorithm for automatic detection is researched in detail.3.The TBD algorithm based on Dynamic Programming for target signal integration between scans is studied in detail.Firstly,the principle of Dynamic Programming,including the signal and noise characteristics and its processing procedure,is introduced.Secondly,the application of the DPA algorithm in studied.The problem is demonstrated.According to the state model and its discrete rules,the state transition rules between scans is carried out in R-D maps.And also,the procedure is presented.Lastly,simulation experiments are finished to validate the method.4.The application of the GOF based CFAR algorithm in the accumulation domain is researched.Firstly,the problem of targets detection in the accumulation domain is analyzed and concluded.The problem is demonstrated as to detect expansion targets in clutter with two parameters with constant false alarm.The idea of using the GOF CFAR to solve the problem is presented,as a beneficial supplement to the TBD algorithm.Secondly,the basic principal of the GOF CFAR is presented,and its structure is analyzed.It's proved that under some assumptions,the proposed detector has the CFAR property.Finally,the performance of the algorithm is verified through simulation experiments and the comparison with the conventional CFAR algorithm is also presented.
