Electronic jamming is one of the most important parts of electronic warfare.Jamming produced by digital method, compared with analog method, is easier to becontrolled, more precise, not sensitive to noise and easier to be implemented onhardware circuit. With the developments of DDS(Direct Digital Frequency Synthesis),DRFM(Digital Radio Frequency Memory) and the appearances of high performancechips, digital jamming gets more and more extensive applications.Firstly, this paper introduces two key technologies in digital jamming synthesis,including DDS and DRFM. Then the principle of radio frequency(RF) noise jamming iselaborated. Combined with hardware block diagram, ideas of controlling centerfrequency and band of RF noise jamming using digital technology are discussed andanalyzed based on simulations. For the problems of radar with rapid changing frequencyand complex network of threatening radars in modern warfare, the method of multipathinterference signals synthesis is studied, and this method can effectively improve theutilization rate of jamming proved by simulations. Finally, in the case of LFM(LinearFrequency Modulation) pulse compression, interference effects are verified bysimulations.
