Management information System (MIS) is the computer application inmanagement using the database as the core element. MIS integrates network technology,communication technology and information processing technology, so that it can gather,transfer, store and process various kinds of information. It is the important content ofinformation technology revolution. MIS is a machine-human-interactivecomputer system providing aid to decision making, facilitating management.This article is a university school roll and performance management system. firstintroduced the background, and the system development, application and relevantinformation technology, analyzes on the C/S and B/S architecture of their respectivecharacteristics and J2EE framework and then in the theoretical basis, according to theschool management and integrated information management system for students, schoolroll, performance and management system management function modules, It is a typicalmanagement information system. For a comprehensive system needs analysis, systemsanalysis of the major process and the overall system design, it’s based on B/Sarchitecture as an architecture, the use of the object-oriented system development,combination of the method of UML modeling and the database design, ASP technologysystem for development and design, using ACCESS to the development of databases,including the establishment and maintenance and a database application interfaces forthe development of both aspects. Finally, using the J2EE platform to develop a set ofstudent status and performance management system has been used in teaching.
