Radio Frequency Memory(RFM) is a technology that stored the input RF signaland reconstitute the storage signal when it is required. There usually have twao kinds ofRFM: the Analog Radio Frequency Memory(ARFM) and Digital FrequencyMemory(DRFM), the ARFM technology is to stored the input RF signal into analogdevices and circuits, it has advantages such as wide instantaneous bandwidth, shortdelay time and simple structure, which are difficult to achieve with DRFM. ARFM is a nvery important component of radar-jamming system.Based on the circuit composition and the basic working principle of ARFM, thispaper discussed the requirements, frequency accuracy and error, the frequency buildingprocess and the duration of the ARFM loop. From the influence of the ARFMtechnology due to the analog delay line, the performance of various delay line werecompared. And studied the composition and characteristics of the Fiber-Optical analogfrequency memory circuit based on high performance Fiber-Optical delay line, analysisthe technology of near sample pulse ARFM. As the “moding” effect of frequencymemory loop, there has frequency error between the input and output signal, resulting inirrelevant effect. To solve this problem, this paper proposed to using the phaseadjustment part to reduce the phase error between input and output signal. And in orderto improve the open-loop gain flatness, using the gain equalizer to reduce the gainfluctuations, to obtain the longer memory time.
