Wireless sensor networks(WSNs) has the characteristics of limited energy supply,computing power and communication bandwidth, and the communication relies on thedata forwarding among sensor nodes. Since the energy consumption among nodescommunication accounts for a large proportion of the overall, so an energy efficientrouting strategy plays a key role in improving the performance of the network.Considering the characteristic of limited communication range and computingability, a cooperation control information distributed updated WSNs routing strategy isproposed, which consists of the strategy of next hop node selection, the routing controlinformation update and cooperation data forwarding among nodes. The strategy of nexthop node selection and the routing control information update control the direction ofpackets transmission and the number of backup, which improves the efficiency ofpacket forwarding and reduces packet loss; Cooperation data forwarding strategyreduce network traffic caused by redundant data forwarding, lower energyconsumption level. Simulation results shows that WSNs adopting this strategy makesa good tradeoff between energy consumption and packet loss, this strategy can extendthe network lifetime and improve the throughput and connectivity effectively.
