Radar servo system consists of mechanical construction and control system, theyrestrict and affect mutually. In the traditional electrical and mechanical servo systembetween structure and control system design is separated. The entire performance of thesystem always lead to the problems of massive structure、low tracking accuracy andlong development cycle. In order to improve the performance of the entire system, It isnecessary to design the structure and control system synthetically.Firstly, In this paper, modal method is used to establish the servo system analyticalmodel, This model not only guarantees the accuracy of analysis, and can be directlyused for the control object. Secondly, an integrated optimization model is set up usingH_∞control method. The optimum of tracking performance, robust performance andstructure performance are realized through selecting structure parameters andcontrolling gain. At last, The modeling and Simulation of a radar antenna pedestalstructure shows that the integrated design can obviously improve the system’s stabilityand reduce the response time. It also shows the superiority of integrated optimization.
