Research On Automated Testing Of China Taxation Administration Information System By QTP

The national tax revenue is important to the national economy and the people’s livelihood, and China Taxation Administration Information System (CTAIS) has been applied to all the national taxation systems. Basically, all of the tax-related businesses are gradually incorporated into this system. In recent years, the tax policy changes rapidly and it is more compact from establishment to implementation. It is inevitable and necessary for CTAIS being updated in a short time frequently. For each updating, people have to spend a lot of manpower and resources to perform the testing work. As the system being huge more and more, it is becoming increasingly difficult to complete testing in a short time. This problem has seriously affected the work of CTAIS and must be resolved as soon as possible.This subject researches how to analyze and realize automated testing in CTAIS software system for all process from. The overall design, the QuickTest Professional (QTP) script development, the execution of test cases, and the defect management via automated testing tool of QTP.This thesis introduced CTAIS software system and described the concept of software testing and development process, discussed the automated testing and the principle selection of test tools. We discussed CTAIS test program of item analysis, testing processes, testing frameworks, testing cases design and other aspects. Through a testing instance, the process of script has been developed and been completed, the author prepared and established thoughts and methods of executing of testing, and analysis of processing defects.Through this study found that greatly improved the efficiency and coverage of the CTAIS testing by QTP to realize unattended automated testing. This will helpful for promoting system stable and robustness of CTAIS production running environment.
