The Design And Implementation Of Optimally City Bus Dispatching System

At present the problem of urban traffic jams has become increasingly obvious, to solve such problem is to energetically develop public transport and improve bus-running efficiency. Public Transportation Company focuses on bus lines operation management, and views the transportation scheduling as the core point. Schedule is the important part of bus-running plan. It based on the passengers flow volume to guide bus-running plan. Study on Optimally transportation schedule can do great favor to provide great efficiency, on-time convenient service which can enhance attractiveness of public transport.The article begins with current working procedure and scheduling system of Beijing Public Transportation, based on the theory of bus scheduling, and then it illustrates related indicators and organizing process of Beijing Public Transportation time schedule. Intelligent Transportation Systems and public transportation IC card system, this article analyzes real-time data of passengers flow volume, which can be the basis to organize bus time schedule and transport schedule to prepare not-uniform bus scheduling. Bus line scheduling is the basic mode of Public transport scheduling. In general, the objective of Public Transport Company is to minimize waiting cost for passengers and maximize company profit for company. Bus-running-time space reflects the utilization of public assets. This article considers longest&shortest bus-running space, difference between two adjacent bus-running spaces, and the constraints of loading efficiency and capacity.Then we set up a mathematical model in which view bus starting time as variables, to obtain the uneven starting interval schedules in the entire period by using genetic algorithm and MATLAB programming language. Compared to the original artificial investigating bus-running scheduling, after the implementation, this optimally model has a significant role in applying value.Finally, the article summarizes this research achievement, and then makes a prospect for further research.
