Study On Attack And Defense Drill System Oriented Military Network

In the environment of new military reformation, the military make a continuousreformation of informatization and modernization. A large number of militaryinformation networks continue to emerge for the security of these networks. Thesecurity research on them, called Network attack and defense exercises, becomes animportant subject. This thesis focus on a branch of network attack and defenseexercises system based on the army brigade (group) level, and study intensively on thesecurity model which based on distributed denial of service attack, DDoS.Starting with the research on networking feature of military network, this thesisanalyze the attacks possibly adopted by enemy and point out the serious threat ofDDoS attack to the security of military network, then design and realize the DDoSattack software based on military network, finally, point out the common way and themain characteristic of DDoS attack.According to the attack feature of DDoS and the insufficient of the commonintrusion detection system, this thesis propose and implement a DDoS detection modelbased on military network,which improve the structure of military network, detectionmechanism and algorithm implementation. This thesis mainly describe analysis anddetection modules and IP detection module, experiments are carried out in the LANenvironment, it is proved that this system has a good protection effect against theattack of DDoS.
