The hardware architecture of the telecommunication software platform is based on the ATCA (Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture) to complete the processing of data, signaling and service by dispersive programs which are united in the software platform. The uniform software platform provides the functions of shielding the detail of hardware, encapsulating the difference of the software. At the same time it also provides union services for application programs.In this paper, TD-SCDMA wireless network controller (RNC) software platform of Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd. is analyzed. Combined with new requirement of several products, and based on the SAF’s AIS specifications, some researches and innovations are accomplished. An abstract layer of virtual operating system is defined. A method of distributed communication automatic routing topology discovery is proposed. A model of the dynamic component management framework is proposed. A rapid means of the abnormal positioning for the software is proposed by providing a perfect solution of soft exception capture.The research results in the paper have been applied to the designing and implementation of RNC in Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd.
