The management of network operation is increasinglyimportant and urgent, according to social, commercial and technical points of view.Network testing is an important means to network monitoring, managing, optimizingimproving. More attention has been paid on it. Research related has become a hotresearch focus in computer networks. Currently, network test system monopoly hascontrolled by foreign companies, and large-scale application has not been a maturenetwork test systems in China. Therefore, it is important to do research in networktesting areas. The General Staff of a sub-thesis project.The paper takes "Active Network Measurement System Research andImplementation" of a sub-project as background, focusing on studing, designing theactive network testing and data clock synchronization test data generation techniques, inorder to make a complete active network test systems come true.Firstly, The paper summarizes the background knowledge and relevant researchnetwork test system in the field of. By comparing the active testing and passive testingthe advantages and disadvantages, it is comprehensively compared and analyzed ofrelated technologies in the active testing. On this basis, according to active networktesting requirements and the Windows platform features, advantages and disadvantagesof various methods of clock synchronization are under analysis and comparison. A testwhich is more suitable for active network clock synchronization mechanism TTM (TestTime Mechanism) is desiged, in order to provided effective protection to one-way delayand calculated the exact test. This method will be applied to the process of analysis oftest results. It can effectively reduce the delay caused by the clock skew calculationerrors. Secondly, for the problem of low frequency of conventional timer in Windowsplatform, a HA (High Accuracy) timing triggers has been designed. It can improve thetest system to send test packets per unit time the number. At last, mathematical model ofnetwork traffic is compared. The design based on normal distribution, Poissondistribution, uniform distribution and exponential distribution models of the test flowsmodel algorithm. It provides proactive network testing rich way of testing flows.Based on these researchs, Active Network Measurement System based on awindows operating system is designed and come true. Through setting rate, frame sizeand generation models, it is able to test various scenarios fast network delay, jitter, packet loss and network throughput performance. The system is fully functional, stable,well applied to the General Staff of a project. |
