Traditional network learning system emphasizes system; it requests users to adapt to thesystem, which causes many problems, such as bad communication, inefficient learning and soon. The paper deeply studies self-adaptive learning from theory and practice based on nowcondition. The aim is to develop a platform of self-adaptive distance education whichmanifests learners’ individuality; the platform provides a good network learning environmentfor learners.The paper analyzes the present condition of the domestic and foreign distance educationand developing trend, it also discusses distance education’s model and technology. B/S modelis decided to be used in the system; this model is easily used and maintained when it is usedon the campus network or on the Internet. Comparing with update technology for developingdynamic homepages, the system is developed by ASP.NET tool. It provides the system withpowerful technology supporting and safeguarding.The web test and the web questioning and answering are deeply studied in the paper; thespecific design and realizing program are provided. it uses item response theory method torealize individual test. the aim is to realize individual study. Nowadays, subjective questionautomatically scoring has become an important studying object. the system also use semanticsanalyzing method to give suitable rights for selected key words, the similar degree iscomputed among national language, the aim is to give reasonable scores. Considering of theexist the same and similar words, the table of synonyms concept is added, which improves thesystem’s accuracy.The web questioning and answering is a main portion in the web learning system. Weblearning breaks time and place limits, but if students can’t communicate with teachers in time,students easily feel lonely, they will lose learning interests gradually. The web questioningand answering function is to provide communication room between students and students,students and teachers, the questions which students meet during study can be solved in time,teachers can master the process of the students’ study.
