Research And Implementation Of Event Processing For Full-Key Mobile Based-on BREW Platform

As an important development direction in the mobile phone industry, full-keymobile has become the first choice of the business people. BREW is anopen-architecture solution developed by Qualcomm, which is designed for wirelessdevice’s high-performance application execution environment. BREW will play animportant role in the mobile phone development in the future by its open and extensiblefeatures.This paper first analyzes the characteristics and the difference of the full-keymobile events. Then use BREW technology as the core, and make a deep research onthe MVC design pattern as well as to the treatment to Touch events and key events ofBUIW. And the paper analyses the difference and harmony between the key events andtouch events. On this basis, according to the MVC’s hierarchical model, paper designsand implement a full-key processing mechanism and puts forward an algorithm for autofocus switch, which concentrates the key events and touch events to processing, makesthe two events a coordination of treatment, and realizes the two events’ synchronizationand consistent.This paper uses this full-key mobile’s event handling mechanism in the independentaudio player’s event handling on the BUIW platform, so as to prove the correctness ofthe processing mechanism. It designs test cases for functional testing, tests the playerfor several typical case, analysis the result, so as to prove the correctness of theprocessing mechanism. Paper puts forward a kind of method and solution for thesynchronization with many differences processing mechanism in the BREW applicationdevelopment, what provides a new way of thinking for the mobile terminal which hasmultiple inputs.
