Today, experts in the media more and more become a hot buzzword, experts inthermal phenomena, however, mixed. When the experts involved in the media, theiridentity, and behavior through the media processing reproduce the occurrence of achange, the most controversial of the most prominent problem than its credibility byexperts involved in media effects and changes. Mainly relying on its authority inprofessional experts in the media and answering questions for the public popularity ofthe professional knowledge or to guide the public thinking and the ability of theperspective directions of the credibility of the experts will naturally become animportant research topic. The experts involved in the media has a kind of socialcauses and significance? Experts in the media and how the identity and role? What isthe status of expert credibility, but also is manifested in what ways? Expert credibilityin the media by which factors? A variety of factors is how to act on the credibility ofexperts, but also what kind of reality of the plight and breakthrough opportunities?In this paper, four-part description and answer these questions. The first chapterintroduces the context of expert credibility of the media. Experts involved in themedia is a result of its own subjective desire and objective needs of the communitytogether, the enlightenment and guidance of the community, the media depth andcompetition increased, so has a role in promoting social development and the process.Accordance with the degree of involvement of the expert the media division of itsidentity and role in the media, and an overview of the actual situation of thecredibility of experts. Expert credibility focused on performance in the status ofopinion leaders and the public agenda setting.Chapter II to Chapter IV of systematic analysis of the influencing factors of thecontemporary Chinese media expert credibility from experts in their own point ofview, combined with the theory of opinion leaders, agenda setting theory, the sourcecredibility theory to analyze the expert public nature, professionalism andindependence of its credibility. Mainly described in the third chapter analyzes the roleof the media on the credibility of experts, analysis of the media field expert fieldpenetration, the media in real operational constraints and new media expert credibility brought the breakthrough. The fourth chapter is concerned with the impact of otherfactors on the credibility of experts, including the dangers of political and economicfactors and pseudo-experts.
