The development of wireless local area network makes people’s work and life have a greater degree of freedom. The development of communication technology and soaring on embed high-speed wireless access on lightweight handheld devices making connect to the Internet in wireless has become very common. Installation technology has rising based on IEEE802.11. It is very attractive in the place like companies, universities, meeting place, airport gate, market to use wireless network. People usually spend much time on these places, when they don’t stay at home or at work. Relative to the convenient network without restraint, modern wireless local area network can already provide relatively high speed network connection, at the same time, it is easy to set.This paper parses and analyzes the behavior of users at ACM conference with the performance of wireless network. In order to understand the deployment and setting of the wireless network, it is important to collect the information of real users in the wireless network about their moving and connection. In such an environment like ACM conference, people use different kinds of wireless devices like mobile phone, smart phone, or PDA. It is impossible for us to forecast or limit the mobile devices of users even the protocol used in it which used to connect into the wireless network. But we can understand the connective action of users, the protocol and application used in the network by users. The purpose of this article is to understand the features of user behavior and the network status in an certain kinds of public environment which according to the involved parametric model to analysis and research of the wireless local area network, and the action features of users. According to these characteristics after parametric analysis to put forward some wireless network deployment plan, such as load balance, faster handoff, but in this paper, we only give usage of the analyzing data in details with wireless network handoff mechanism. For users using delay tolerate application, the problem caused by the delay of handoff is not obvious, but for delay sensitive network application, it will seriously affect the user feeling of the network with longer delay. So it is necessary to satisfy the demand of users by improving the performance of network with lower delay and less loss rate.
