In this paper, the problem of designing ADRC for quadruple-tank is studied. Firstly, it researches on components and theory of ADRC from the perspective of process control, create and add a user-defined ADRC library which is realized in MATLAB to Simulink module library by S-function. So it is easy to process simulation by calling various combination and different orders of ADRC, and summarize the laws of each parameters setting via a large number of simulation experiments.Then, it utilizes OPC technology integrate quadruple-tank levels control system based on PLC into MATLAB, and obtains on-line system parameters, also design a suitable ADRC according to the characters of level process variable. Finally, uses the designed ADRC to control real-time Four-tank levels, and conducts many experiments based on One-tank、Two-tank、 MIMO Four-tank. Experiment results show that ADRC has strong robustness and anti-disturbance performance, can adopt different orders plants, and has a superior decoupling performance for MIMO.This paper has a certain reference value in process control, and can further promote the ADRC technology practical application in the process of industrial production.
