They also could select courses and inquireabout other information such as marks, merits, punishments. Teachers could lookthrough curriculum arrangement and register marks; parents could obtain theinformation of how their kids perform at school.This system covers the administration of educational affairs and teaching.Information collecting stretches to various department, so wherever it occurs, it couldbe put into the system. Oracle is used as background database, and securitymechanism and management mechanism of Oracle database is used to this teachingmanagement platform. In the process of system development, Software engineeringideas and methods are applied Analyze functional requirements and divide functionmodules of educational administration management system. The overall design was implemented from the function of the system structure and technical structure tworespects. Educational management is related to the whole process from entrance tograduation for a student. The system function mainly include Course management,School management, Performance management, Curriculum information management,evaluation of teaching management, teacher information management, Reportgeneration and System management. It is easy to transplant system to the variousoperating system platforms, due to the adoption of a layered architecture, theexpansibility of the system and function of module reusability is greatly enhanced.System function test results indicate that the educational administrationmanagement system can run well, an open type information management, sharing andinquiry is implemented in system. Owing to high interactivity, teaching officeefficiency and quality is highly enhanced, the expected goal of development achieved.The development of this system not only adapts to the trend in the development ofnetwork information but also promotes educational administration in higher vocationalcolleges. In a word, the development of this system has an important application value.
