The Design And Implementation Of Image Search Service Based On XPlore

With the continuous development of enterprise content management system, the capacity of information management and search increases quickly, but there’s no enough support for the picture information on all aspects. xPlore provides full-text search service for text documents and doesn’t handle EXIF and graphic information of images. xPlore need study to better support image search.Image information consists of text, graphic and EXIF information. Text information can be obtained based on optical character recognition, and graphic information means the fingerprint calculated by hash algorithm perception algorithm. EXIF information mainly contains camera and position information. In xPlore, text extraction process is one step in CPS pipeline and other image process can be added to the document processing as unstructured data annotator.Firstly, this article will describe the design and improvement in xPlore, including the improvement of the CPS pipeline, implementation and configuration of unstructured information management application annotator. Then this article will focus on the image search system based on the modified xPlore, which provides management of album and iamge, and also search service from every angel.The modification in xPlore improves the image search service and the configured UIMA annotator can further validate the new feature of the latest xPlore. Besides, the image search system can help many people manage and search their image easily and conveniently.
