The Design And Implementation Of All In One Search Service Based On XPlore

With the development of economy, the market competition is becoming more and more fierce. Over the years running business, they accumulate vast amounts of information. Due to the dispersion of information, sharing is very difficult. How to quickly get information becomes a great challenge for the companies.All In One Search (AIOS) is developed to solve the problem that people cannot locate information. Since my company focus more on technical support than product. With the development of the company, we receive more and more customers’requests everyday. For the sake of missing a tool like AIOS, sometimes we handle the same request repeatedly and we always fail to quickly figure out the problem, which waste a lot of time and need more human resource. AIOS, which bases on xPlore, crawls all documents of a certain products and its program codes as well as its bug reports from Version Control Server. Besides, AIOS also provides a search interface for the end users and recommends similar documents for users when they visit a specific page.The main tasks of the paper includes:(1) Summarize the importance of Uniform Resource Retrieval System in big companies and describes the background of AIOS.(2) This paper aims to design and implement AIOS, which is used to solve the problem of retrieving information. AIOS crawls information from some web sites (Support Note and EDN), Version Control Server (the code of the product and its documents formatted as Dita) and Jira (get its bugs’ information). Besides, AIOS also implements a recommendation system.(3) By using AIOS, developers and support guys now can quickly locate problems and avoid processing the same request, which help save a lot of time and money.The main task of this paper is to design and implement a system of solve the problem of retrieving information. The excellence of Customized Search Service based on xPlore can further validate xPlore can be a good helper in companies.
