Wireless location technology initially emerged in order to meet the requirements forremote marine navigation, and then with the rapid development of wireless networkcommunication technology, the demand associated with the position is bigger and bigger.Inrecent years, with the increase of band coverage density of radio communication technologyand the development of express, the location technology get deeper application. The wirelesslocation technology is also becoming a popular direction of the study. In this paper through the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the differentwireless locating methods, the TDOA wireless location technology was finally selected as thekey research object. Several classic algorithms of TDOA was simulated by MATLAB,and theresult proved that they are all feasible. The applicable environment for Fang algorithm,Chanalgorithm, Taylor algorithm is obtained respectively by changing the number of basestations, increasing the distance between receiving station and transmitter, changing thegeometric distribution of base stations, besides factors which will affect the accuracy weredetermined.Due to the superiority of Chan algorithm The three-dimensional positioning algorithmfor Chan was extended on the basis of two-dimensional positioning, and proved its feasibility.According to the time and phase relationship. analysis of the overall structure for theposition, the research programme that first use the signal generator generates a signal and thenthrough the receiving station determine the coordinates of a signal source by equal steps suchas amplification, filtering the received signal was established. Each module was simulated with Multisim. And the programme was demonstratedfeasible.
