This paper designed and implemented based on Zigbeewireless communication technology in the personnel positioning system, ascompared with other several kinds of wireless communication technology.TheZigbee wireless communication technology has many advantages, such as lowpower, low cost, easy to implement and so on, therefore it has widely appliedmore and more in various fields, such as industry control, family intelligentcontrol, traffic control,consumer electronics, smart toys, wireless location, andmedical device equipment contro and so on. Personnel positioning system hasto identification staff in/out of the moment, key areas/into the moment, workingtime, underground and personnel activity course in key areas of numbers,information monitoring, display, print, store, query and alarm, management, andother functions.Hardware implementation of the personnel positioning system is mainlyfor marked designation card and base stations (substation) card reader to theselection of various functional modules, and the introduction of functionprinciple. The design of the wireless communication is module ZICM2410chip.The base station (substation) card reader to the main control chip of themicroprocessor is STM32F107VCT6, and CAN bus transceiver, interfacecircuit is with RS232and RS485.
