In the field of light weapons firing accuracy measurement system, linear CCD camera with its wide angle field of view and a larger advantage in high-speed measurement has become one of the hottest issues in the photoelectric target research in recent years. Since the nonlinear of the linear CCD camera model parameters is difficult to accurately calibration, it is difficult to improve the measurement accuracy of the object’s location through the target of the intersection of the vertical target system. Based on the measurement principle of linear CCD camera, the key technology is studied in the multiple linear CCD cameras’large intersection target surface system calibration.Based on the imaging principle of the linear CCD camera and the mathematical model of the intersection target measurement system, the coordinate error analysis model has been established, the measurement system’s model parameters’impact on measurement accuracy has been analyzed, a method of linear CCD camera calibration that separate the model parameters to calibration is proposed. In accordance with the imaging principle of linear CCD camera, the internal parameters calibration model based on the N-style array steak model is proposed, and the calibration methods of all kinds of linear CCD camera’s internal parameters are studied. the functional relationship between each foctor in the calibration and calibration accuracy is found out. According to the definition and principle of the camera lens distortion, the impact of the factors of linear array CCD camera lens distortion calibration the algorithm which is based on the polynomial fitting to the calibration accuracy is analyzed, and the calibration accuracy has been improved by the optimization of software and hardware. Combined with relationship between the spatial arrangement of linear CCD cameras intersection, the key parameters of each detection surfaces’intersection in multi-camera arrangement are analyzed, the cameras’external parameter self-calibration method which is based on the signs point has been proposed, the calibration model of large intersection target surface is established, the calibration accuracy of the algorithm in each cover way is analyzed, and the detection surface coplanar of each linear CCD camera is studied. The Matlab data simulation and calibration experiments have been used to calidata the algorithm, the obtained experimental data show that the measurement error for the statically known target of the intersection vertical target system based on this calibration method in the specific target surface of is batter than10mm.A more simple and effective calibration method has been provided for the calibration of all kinds of the large target surface through the research of the linera CCD camera intersection target surface system calibration’s key technology, it has been applied in a specific target surface environment and achieved very good results.
