FlexRay is the next generation vehicle network protocol, it has a fast transferrate and strong real-time, and can meet the vehicle safety and dynamic controlrequirements. At present the research and promotion of automotive industry onFlexRay technology is very limited, related applications are also very limited. Thispaper analyzes the way to achieve the vehicle prototype system which meet theFlexRay protocol, proposed a test and evaluation program of FlexRay networkperformance.First, this paper analyzes the vehicle network and FlexRay technology.Summarizes the vehicle network from the generation to maturation.Describes thebasic categories of vehicle networks, the typical characteristics, research status anddevelopment trend.Explore the FlexRay protocol data encoding and decoding, dataframe, the media access method and clock synchronization and other functions.Second, this paper propose the design method of FlexRay network node whichbased on the vehicle network and FlexRay technology. To build hardware platform ofFlexRay network node,we use MC9S12XF512and TJA1080. To write softwaredrivers of the FlexRay network node,we use Codewarrior. Using the previous design, this paper propose the way to achieve vehicle prototype system.we can use the fourslave nodes as the electronic control unit of four wheel vehicle, use the master node asthe master control node. By monitoring the status of each child,we can achieve thewheel speed, acceleration, temperature, tire pressure monitoring and other statusinformation. By collecting and analyzing monitoring data, we can test and evaluatethe network transmission speed, security and real-time.Finally,in this paper, based on the vehicle prototype system, the FlexRay networkreliability, real-time and data transfer rates were tested. Reference to CAN network, the performance of the FlexRay network was evaluated. FlexRay is a high speed,real-time, reliable vehicle network communications protocol which consistent withdevelopment of next-generation vehicle network needs. Reasonable allocation of theFlexRay protocol can effectively apply to vehicle networks to improve vehicleperformance. |
